These are daily acts of Collective Worship held in the Hall or in  classrooms.

 

The Friday Shine Time is a very special weekly celebration in the main hall for the whole school to enjoy. At this weekly event new Shine Ambassadors are invited to sit in our V.I.P. area. We also award 'Dazzlers' and 'Sparklers' awards on a weekly basis.

Parents are regularly invited to 'Shine Time: Shooting Stars' events. These are held to allow parents and the wider community to join us in celebrating the efforts and achievements of our children.

The Governors have a duty to ensure that public events in school are carried out in a safe and appropriate manner.  They have therefore set out the following procedures which must be adhered to by ALL visitors attending 'Shine Time' and similar public events at this school.
 

• Parents are asked to be respectful when inside the Main Hall and observe the 'No Talking Policy' whilst the event is taking place.

• Mobile phones must be switched off in the school. No photographs must be taken without permission first being granted by a senior member of the school staff.

​

• Pushchairs must not be taken into the hall.

​

• Parents attending these events must only enter the hall via the door in the front lobby. There is no access beyond the hall for visitors without the wearing of an official school badge and must sign the visitors book before entry into school beyond the Hall.
