EMERGENCY CLOSURE PROCEDURE

 

We are not expecting that the weather in Peterborough will be severe enough to disrupt our school operations, but we always monitor the forecast closely and will contact our parents & carers if needed.

 

We remind all parents & carers of our emergency closure procedures should it be neccesary to close.

 

In the event of a full or partial school closure, we aim to Dojo a notification to parents by 7.30am and place a message on the school website homepage www.dogsthorpeinfants.co.uk.

Peterborough City Council will also report all school closures on their website www.peterborough.gov.uk​

 

PLEASE NOTE: THAT DOGSTHORPE ACADEMY (next door) MAY MAKE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT DECISION ABOUT CLOSING THAN US.      EVERY school day matters to us. 

 

PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THAT WE ARE CLOSED IF OTHER SCHOOLS AROUND US ARE CLOSED. 

 

ANY DECISION FOR US TO CLOSE WILL BE MADE HERE AT DOGSTHORPE INFANT SCHOOL AND WITH THE FULL SUPPORT OF BOTH HAMPTON ACADEMIES TRUST AND OUR SCHOOL GOVERNORS.
