EMERGENCY CLOSURE PROCEDURES

 

We are not expecting that the weather in Peterborough will be severe enough to disrupt our school operations, but we always monitor the forecast closely and will contact our parents & carers if needed.

 

We thought it would be useful to remind parents/carers of our emergency closure procedures should this be neccesary.

 

Wherever possible, in the event of full or partial school closure, we aim to parent-mail & Dojo a notification by 7.30am and place a message on the school website homepage www.dogsthorpeinfants.co.uk.

Peterborough City Council will also report all school closures on their website www.peterborough.gov.uk​

 

PLEASE NOTE: DOGSTHORPE ACADEMY MAY MAKE A DIFFERENT DECISION TO US. IF THEY DO CLOSE, PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THAT WE ARE ALSO CLOSED AS ANY DECISION FOR US TO DO SO WILL BE MADE HERE AT DOGSTHORPE INFANT SCHOOL AND WITH THE FULL SUPPORT OF HAMPTON ACADEMIES TRUST.
