OUR EMERGENCY CLOSURE PROCEDURES

 

We are not expecting that the weather in Peterborough will be severe enough to disrupt our school operations, but we always monitor the forecast closely and will contact our parents & carers if needed.

 

We remind all parents & carers of our emergency closure procedures should it be neccesary to close.

 

In the event of a full or partial school closure, we will notify all parents and carers by 7.30am and also place a message on  www.dogsthorpeinfants.co.uk.

Peterborough City Council will also report all school closures on their website www.peterborough.gov.uk​

 

PLEASE NOTE: THAT NEIGHBOURING SCHOOLS MAY MAKE A DIFFERENT DECISION ABOUT CLOSING THAN US.  

 

PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THAT WE ARE CLOSED IF OTHER SCHOOLS OR ACADEMY TRUSTS CHOOSE TO CLOSE  

 

ANY DECISION FOR US TO CLOSE WILL BE MADE HERE AT DOGSTHORPE INFANT SCHOOL AND WITH THE FULL SUPPORT OF BOTH HAMPTON ACADEMIES TRUST AND OUR OWN SCHOOL GOVERNORS.
