The first Reading Cafe saw parents and children making stars after Mrs Waters read them a story about a boy who tried to catch a star. In 'Shine Time' a musician came into our school to get us up on our feet to dance and sing.
Our brand-new Forest School outside classroom opened in Autumn Term 2018
Real Owls visit the school because EYFS have been reading 'Owl Babies'. Art is made from items collected outside.

A large number of local parents and carers took part in one of our Phonics workshops
Our Learning Journey Bus was launched this term. Packed full of exciting VR & AR EdTech to inspire our children to write and make their learning even more fun. Even Santa & his Reindeers were there to greet our very excited infants.
Our new Peterborough Reads 'Book Buzz' events continued this term. Here's our EYFS class (Rosen) #BookBuzz
Our Santa's Grotto at the Dogsthorpe Infant School Christmas Fayre broke all previous records with 80 children meeting with Santa and each went away with a free reading book. As in previous years it was a very busy and popular event.
Our extra 'bulge year' class and extra children meant we had four performances of 'Nativity' this year instead of our usual three. Thank you to all staff who helped with these performances and for all the parents and carers who attended.
Artarama Club make Snowmen cards and pictures. Inkpen class enjoy their 'Book Buzz' with parents and carers.
Our Pantomime 'Treasure Island', Over 300 Christmas Lunches all served in under 2 hours and our Christmas parties with Santa with a gift of a free storybook to read over the festive holidays. Very happy memories to treasure forever.
Winter Wonderland Concert with Year group songs, Technokids Christmas Video, Dance Club and 'The Dogsthorpe Express'.
The term and year ended with Christingle and Festive songs around our giant new five metres high Christmas tree that was donated to us by Motorpoint.
