At the first Reading Cafe of 2018-19, Year 2 children and their parents listened to 'How to catch a star' by Oliver Jeffers.

 

The little boy tried hard to catch his very own star and by the end of the story he had achieved his dream!

 

We made star mobiles and wrote wishes on our stars - some children wished for chocolate and toys whilst some children wished for everybody to be happy.

 

Mrs Waters explained that she had chosen this story because at Dogsthorpe Infants we are all STARS!
