School Council

At Dogsthorpe Infant School we have a School Council made up of representatives from each class.

The School Council meet on a regular basis, under the watchful eye of Mrs Claxton, to discuss ways that they would like to see the school improved.  The Governors have regular meetings with the school Council to listen to their thoughts and ideas.

The Council suggested that the children would benefit from an outdoor classroom facility. The Governors agreed to this request and our new Outdoor Classroom was  built in the Y2 playground area in Spring 2009.

On 18th September 2009 Y1 & Y2 held their School Council Elections.  The following children were elected as School Councillors
