Wrap Around High Quality Childcare

DOGSTHORPE DEN

Dogsthorpe Infant School works in partnership with Dogsthorpe Junior School and Family care to offer parents the opportunity to access high quality childcare delivered from our school site.

The Dogsthorpe Den opened May 2006 and is located in a mobile situated on the Junior School playground. Children have the opportunity to access a Breakfast Club, After School Club and a Holiday Club set in a safe and structured environment.

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is run by Suzanne Nutt and her assistant Claudia Redlich. The Breakfast Club is open from 7.45 am to 8.50am. The children are then escorted to their class for the start of the school morning. The children are provided with a healthy breakfast and drink. The costs are £1.75 per child per day.

After School Club

The After School Childcare club is run by Georgie Futter and her assistants Suzanne Nutt and Joan Hanley.  All staff are fully trained, have previous childcare experience and  an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check (CRB). The club is open from 3.15pm to 6pm. The costs are  £6.75 per day,  £5.75 per siblings. This includes a healthy snack and drink. The club  also provides structured activities throughout the sessions and a chill out room.

Holiday Club

The Dogsthorpe Den offers parents the opportunity to access our high quality chilcare throughout the school holidays. The Holiday Club is run by Georgie Futter, Suzanne Nutt and additional staff. The opening hours are 8am - 6pm, 5 days a week. There is also the option of half day sessions which will run from 8am - 1pm and 1pm to 6pm. The costs for the holiday childcare are £18.50 per child 8am - 6pm, £10 per child per half day session. This will include healthy snacks and drinks. All children will need to bring their own packed lunch.
